fingers crossed there's an eddie aikau memorial surf competition. it's a rare competition. never scheduled, it only takes place when the waves reach a certain height in the winter. hoping for caroline who woke up at 4:00 this morning and her roommate who, perhaps over zealously, woke up at 2:30a to wait at the North Shore beaches.
