My friend Jud showed me the site Inspiration Resource (of the Eames post from earlier today). This is another recommendation from him. So, you know it's a good one.
Grain Edit is a handsome blog that focuses on classic design work from the 1950s-1970s and contemporary designers that draw inspiration from that time period. Posts include interviews, articles, designers’ libraries as well as examples of rare design annuals, type specimens, Ephemera, posters and vintage kids books. Basically, really cool and lots of eye candy. Plus, you're bound to learn something.
I particularly enjoyed the interview with Eleanor Grosch of PushmePullyou (the above image is from this interview. it is, apparently, mrs. grosch's very first drawing)
