While I've been patiently awaiting the arrival of a gift for my dear cousin Katie, playing with my brand new negative scanner (!!!), and prepping for the launch of Emory University's creativity.emory.edu (a new creativity & arts initiative created by the university), I guess that I've neglected poor little Curios.
So, here we are, back from the dead, to share the most recent post from A Column Inch. Mrs. Benitez never fails to satisfy my morbid appetite with her imaginative and darkly worded vignettes .

So, I adore Julia Rothman.
This is evidenced by the Urban Outiffters pillow she designed that I snatched right up. The mountain goat pillow now sits happily in my living room where I often sit happily looking at it.

But who am I? I mean to say, who doesn't adore Miss Rothman? Just today sfgirlbybay made a lovely post about Julia's prolific illustrative career.
(speaking of which, are these wrapping papers not the sweetest?)


Anyhow, all of this is leading up to my wanting to tell you that I just added Julia's blog called Book By Its Cover to our Letters of the Day section. Each day Book By Its Cover features a new art book. From Children's to Comics, Sketchbooks, Design, and Fine Art – Book By Its Cover covers it all. I have to say, I have a very hard time looking at this site without imaginging that I need nearly everything on it. But, when I am able to control myself I love to look at the beautiful photos and read book reviews written by guest writers such as Dave Cuzner or Lisa Cogdon. So if you have time in your day for lovely things, you might have a look at Book By Its Cover.
